Job Description:

We need a highly creative individual who can utilize his or her skills in multi-media to produce and create advertising and product support content for I-nique. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in all of these required areas:

Professional Product Photography

  • Professional photography, handle lighting, and make expert use of Photoshop for post-processing, adding effects, etc.
 We sell a wide variety of products and require high-resolution photos, clean, crisp and ready for publishing. Applicant must have a keen knowledge of print and web publishing concerns, and be able to deliver professional photography that meet these criteria.

Illustration, vector and non-vector,

  • Professional illustration experience
  • Highly proficient in creation and modification of vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Flash, vector shading to produce realistic objects.

Logo Design

  • Must be able to design, process, and modify logos at an expert print-ready level, using industry standard tools.
 At I-nique we work with print and digital media for sales. Applicant must have the skills necessary to combine and deliver print-ready media, logos, ads, and packages that reflect the high standards of the products we offer to our customers.

Pre-Press Prep

  • experience in working with process and spot colors, and experience in production of print-ready materials.

Typesetting and Layout

  • experience required in InDesign, Quark, HTML, and CSS for publishing.
 We design, and develop our own packaging, working with professional print companies to produce the high-quality packaging we use in the marketplace. It is crucial, in the interests of time and quality, that we send our printers print-ready items. Items returned from our printers for alteration cost us time and money. Applicants must have necessary experience, and be able to act as an intermediary for I-nique in communication with our printers.

Flash Animation/ActionScript programming

  • Animate self-illustrated vector creations, work with guide-paths, and show web-published works to demonstrate proficiency.
  • Experience in sound-editing tools to create/modify sounds, mix, and insert into flash content.
  • Create dynamic ad banners using ActionScript, and embed video clips, produce mouse-over expanding ads, and make and use of XML, spreadsheets and RSS feeds to populate them.
  • Creatation of simulated 3D product walk-thrus with a simple interface that visitors may use to view products from all sides.

Web Development

  • Advanced knowledge of website layout in HTML code, and proficiency in CSS, and mindful of current web-standards.
  • Ability / experience in
    • dynamic web applications using HTML forms, XML, PHP, SQL, Pearl, and JavaScript.
    • trouble-shoot existing website code, and fix/update where needed.
    • programming practices, and re-usable coding practices and techniques.
    • offer technical solutions and enhancements to improve website user experience, and be able to implement those ideas.
    • write easy-to-use web applications to streamline data-collection processes.
    • creating and managing databases.
 To keep the public up-to-date with our new products, we need a tech-savvy individual to update our website with the latest we have to offer. This requires a high-degree of knowledge of web-development, and experience in modifying and programming applications for the web.

3D illustration/Concept sketches

  • 3D concept sketches (by hand) for new products with realistic material shading (pencil and pen).
  • Experience with 3D modeling

3D Package design

  • Experience in production of designs that wrap around boxes, create innovative package designs, card holders and press packages (leave-behinds), pop-up business cards, and small-format fold-able 3D media for distribution.
 Nothing catches the eye like a sleek, 3D package, or 3D product demo. At I-nique we pride ourselves on our innovative and eye-catching product line. We need an individual who can render 3D designs or our products, and create media that conveys the full pleasure of owning a product from I-nique!

Instructions and Help Documentation

  • experience in creating diagrams and product walk-thrus to be printed instructions for existing products.
  • production of HTML/Javascript/Flash based interactive tutorials as accompanying documentation to be placed on the web.
 Customer satisfaction is ours as well! It is duly important that customers know how to get full use out of their new i-nique equipment. We need a concise individual who can write and illustrate documentation for our products, for web and print.

Content Creation / Editing

  • Experience editing and creating textual content for a variety of applications.
 High-quality demands a high-degree of verbal and cognition skill. We have a lot to say about our products, an individual with these communication skills is necessary.

Instruction and training

  • Be able to train co-workers in Adobe and Microsoft products, and general computing environments.
 At I-nique we work as a team. An applicant should have good team skills, and be able to improve work-flow by offering his/her expertise, and assist co-workers in developing new skills related to internal work processes.
