What is "Climate-Positive ™"?

To play our part in tackling climate change, we have teamed up with Climate Care to offset the greenhouse gas emissions from our business.

Climate Care will fund projects in green energy, energy efficiency and forest restoration around the world to reduce emissions on our behalf.

Our Offset

We have offset the carbon emissions from the following business activities to ensure the all Eco-nique operation is ‘Climate-Positive ™’.

1. Carbon emissions generated by the manufacturing process in Asia
2. Carbon emissions generated by the freight and transportation of the goods from Asia to UK
3. Carbon emissions generated by the transportation of the goods from UK ports to our warehouse
4. Carbon emissions generated by the transportation of the goods from our warehouse to your door!
5. All carbon emissions generated in the head office administration in UK
6. All carbon emissions generated in the production of packaging

We have chosen to not only offset the transportation element (air, car and train), but also all the Co2 generated by the energy consumed in the manufacturing process in China, and sales & admin office in UK

Offsetting quite simply means paying someone to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere to net off the CO2 generated from our activities. It’s a ‘repair’ service that takes time!

By being “Climate Positive”, do we not only offset all the carbon emissions generated by the product, but we go beyond the industry standard of 'climate neutral', by contributing an additional element towards greenhouse gas offset – our way of doing our bit!

We at Eco-nique strive to be “carbon responsible” and make the payment to the organization as a true business cost ‘payment’ not a ‘contribution’ nor ‘donation’.
